Lookout Lodge is a modern guest house with a huge wraparound balcony set to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Bedroom One contains two single trundle beds which fold out to make four singles depending on your needs. This room has pleasant rural views to the hills beyond.

Bedroom Two contains a King size ensemble with lovely rural and sea views.


Bedroom Three contains a Queen size ensemble with french doors opening onto the deck and gorgeous rural and sea views.

The bathroom contains a shower and huge oversized bath. There are two toilets - one in the bathroom and one in the adjacent laundry.

The modern 'cafe syle' kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove top, electric oven, range hood, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, pantry and plenty of cupboard space.

Lounge/dining room are combined in one massive light filled open space with cathedral ceilings and two double french doors opening onto the deck providing a visual feast of the surroundings and stunning sea views. The lounge contains three 3 x seater sofas and one 2 x seater sofa to seat eight people in comfort. There is a dining table with eight chairs. A TV, and VCR/DVD are provided for your entertainment viewing.

There is a huge barbecue area on the deck with a polished concrete outdoor table with eight high backed wrought iron chairs for your outdoor dining pleasure. You can also relax and unwind in the six gorgeous adirondack chairs along the deck, which include two rockers.


The Laundry contains a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. Complimentary washing powder is provided for guests. A fold out washing line can be pulled out onto the deck if you prefer. A baby cot with linen and a high chair are available on request. The high chair can be easily converted into a safe seat for toddlers so you can sit on the deck with them at your height.

The balcony also has child proof locked gates on each end, providing a safe enclosed area for children to play in under the watchful eye of adults. Parking - the undercover carport can fit 1 - 2 cars and a further guest spot is provided in the adjacent garage.

Food - While limited tea and coffee is provided, guests are strongly advised to bring sufficient food and provisions with them before arriving, depending on when they intend to arrive, as local supermarkets and general stores close around 6pm. Lookout Lodge is part of a larger property called "Palmer's Lookout." 200 metres up the road from Lookout Lodge is the Historic Palmer's Lookout, which has old coin operated binoculars and in former times had lovely gardens and picnic areas, including a fairy garden for children. The lookout has become run down over recent years, though some remnants of its former glory still remain. Now under new ownership, the Lookout is in the planning stages of being completely rebuilt and will contain a wheelchair accessible viewing platform and new viewing apparatus', plus a unisex wheelchair accessible toilet when completed.
